Helping You Become the Parent You Want to Be!
Hello, Devoted Parent!
Do you sometimes feel discouraged as a parent... or maybe helpless or hopeless, or even despairing and defeated? Do you worry that you might actually be "messing up" your child?!
We believe that being a parent is the hardest, but the most rewarding, thing we do in our lives. You can feel hope and confidence again as a parent, knowing that there is a good path forward and that you’re doing the best for your child.
In our work with parents, we find that almost everybody has at least one parenting challenge that they are anxious to solve. "Please just give me a tool to fix this problem I'm having..." is something we hear a lot! Our Parenting 2.0 Workshop is designed to help you build up your mental and emotional parenting "tool set" so that you feel more confident and capable of being the parent you want to be!
We hope you will consider joining us for this six-week online, video-conference program. You can attend the sessions live and interact with us and with others, or you can choose to just watch the recordings. Either way, we think you'll find that there are simple steps you can take to be a more confident and positive parent.
We look forward to helping you!

OVERVIEW:
"Parenting 2.0" is about parenting at a higher level. Most parents are doing a better job than they give themselves credit for, and a big part of our Parenting 2.0 workshop is helping you to recognize what you're already doing well, and then to strengthen and build on those things.
Parenting at a higher level also means gaining new perspectives on parenting, and we'll dive deeply into ways that small and simple changes in how we think can dramatically improve our happiness and our family life.
Finally, Parenting 2.0 also recognizes that we live in a new, connected, online and social world--and so do our children. We'll discuss the critical decisions and methods for parenting to create peace and fulfillment in our electronically-saturated era, which often produces the opposite of peace and fulfillment for most people.
OUTLINE:
Paul Peterson: I'm interested in fostering wellness and health through conversation, hypnosis, and experiential practices like meditation, body movement, and art. I'm a Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist in Arkansas and run my own private practice in Bella Vista. I've published research in a national therapy journal and been invited to present research at two national conferences. I continually try to expand my understanding of how humans change, mostly through wrangling my toddler twins and picking the brain of my brilliant and beautiful wife. And, of course, through study, research, and practice. More at paulwpeterson.com.
Steve Hargadon: My wife and I are the parents of four now-grown children (the oldest of whom is married to Paul!) and the grandparents to four grandchildren. I run large online educational conferences for teachers and librarians, and I started some of the first modern social networks for education. More on my professional site at stevehargadon.com.
